You can do this!
Posted by karlajo under Learning to Write
I’ll be turning 50 on my next birthday and one of my goals this year is to maintain a blog consistently. I set myself up a blog last summer–but I can’t seem to find it! I have been a mostly stay-at-home wife and mother the last 22 years and keeping current on computer technology and lingo has not been high on my priority list–and now to top that off-I’ve discovered that I have set myself up in a blog system that reads and sounds like the reformed church that we have been attending the last several years! Let me explain–I grew up in the deep, deep South in the backwoods of Florida. My father cried when I decided to go to college and not stay home and marry a good ‘ole local boy. I attended a very small legalistic Baptist church, a small legalistic Christian school and a small legalistic Baptist college. —-many years down the road—-I am married to a kind, smart, educated, Godly, “I love reformed theology” man. I have a wonderful “covenant family” and I am so thankful for these blessings. However, I do struggle with always being around so many “smart” people who seem to read everything in sight and can quote every great “reformer” that ever lived! Sometimes I have to be reminded that God has made me unique–not necessarily ”book” smart —and that’s okay. Welcome to ReformedBlogs.com. This is your first post. Edit or delete it, then start blogging!
