Confession
Posted by karlajo under Learning to Write
For many years I have been a Christian–in fact, I cannot ever remember not being a believer. Praise God! Looking back on my life I could share numerous stories of God’s provision and goodness. I have attended Baptist and Bible churches and am currently attending Christ the King Presbyterian church in Norman, OK. I know that God loves me and I have no problem letting other people know that I love Jesus and His church. My confession-I just don’t want to spend time praying and reading the scriptures—terribly undisciplined! I always “feel” bad for Martha when pastors teach about how she chose to be a doer instead of sitting at Jesus’ feet like Mary. I’m a Martha…and I need to stop and choose to spend time with my Savior—and I need a deeper understanding of the means of grace (according to my husband, and I believe him). If you read this blog sometime–pray for your sister Karla. Thanks.
Psalm 57:1 “Be gracious to me, O God, be gracious to me. For my soul takes refuge in Thee…”

Karla! I found you! I love to read your writing. Keep it up!
And trust me, there’s a reason that we 20 year old moms invite you to things and want you around. We learn from you each time!
Love you!
